A Croft system uses non-camera sensors to notice activity and changes around the home, alongside a simple video-calling screen. It is designed to support independent living for older people, with nothing to wear. Every system is shaped around the person and their home, and arrives pre-configured.

A small sensor in the corner of the room uses radar, not a camera, to notice a fall. There's nothing to wear, charge or press, and it works even in the dark. The moment it senses a fall, the people you've chosen are alerted.
The path lights the way the moment they're up in the night.
Soft, low-level lights come on by themselves when someone moves in the night, lighting the way to the bathroom or kitchen. No switches to find in the dark, and no harsh glare to wake them fully.
You'll know the day has started, and the door's shut for the night.
A slim sensor on the front and back doors notes each time a door opens or closes. Over a day it builds a clear picture of normal life, with no cameras and nothing for anyone to do.
Smoke or a forgotten hob reaches the family, even if they sleep through it.
A connected smoke alarm sounds through the whole home and, at the same moment, alerts the people you've nominated. Help can be on its way even if your loved one sleeps through the alarm itself.
One press by the bath brings help, day or night.
A large, waterproof button sits within easy reach of the bath. A single press sends an alert straight to the people you've chosen, so help is never far away in the room where falls are most likely.
A wet floor is caught before it becomes a fall.
A small sensor on the bathroom floor notices escaping water straight away. A puddle from an overflow or a dripping pipe is exactly the kind of slippery hazard that leads to a fall, so the people you have chosen are alerted before anyone steps in it.

A second leak sensor sits in the cupboard under the kitchen sink, where pipes and waste fittings are most likely to drip. A slow leak is spotted long before it can rot the units, ruin the floor, or run up a repair bill.
No more "did I leave it on?"
A smart plug between the iron and the socket switches it off by itself if it's left on too long. The same plug works with any appliance, so a forgotten iron or heater becomes one less thing to worry about.

A smart plug on the kettle learns the morning routine: roughly when it usually goes on, and how often. A single unusual morning is never cause for alarm, it is just one small data point. The system looks at the wider pattern over days, so it is a real change in routine that gets noticed, not a one-off lie-in.

Questions & answers
Our privacy commitment
Privacy is part of how Croft is designed. Routine monitoring stays inside the home, and you control which alerts leave it.
Indoor monitoring uses non-camera sensors. The tablet camera is only for video calls and may use local motion sensing to wake the screen. It never records, saves or streams video, and it is not used to monitor the home.
Croft does not record or listen to conversations. Calls stay between the people taking part.
Routine and motion signals are processed locally. Only the alerts you choose are sent to the people you nominate.
Your parent can switch monitoring off whenever they like. Their home, their rules.
